Breast Implants
Currently, the most common way to increase breast size is via salt water (saline) filled or silicone gel breast implants. The procedure is one Dr. Davidson has performed many times with great success. While you are under anesthesia, he will carefully place the implant either above or below the chest muscle through a small incision underneath the breast, around the nipple, or in the armpit.
Breast Augmentation Recovery
Keep in mind that breast augmentation and breast enhancement is surgery. You can expect to have some pain, bruising and swelling afterward. These are normal effects and are temporary. When you first go home, you may be asked to wear a special compression bra for a short time to help reduce swelling and hold your breasts in the correct position. Usually, you will be able to return to work in 5 to 7 days after surgery but should avoid heavy exercise for several weeks based on Dr. Davidson's recommendation.
